Amullo: Learning Today, Teaching Tomorrow
Amullo is a 12-year-old boy who approaches school with sincerity and quiet determination. He dreams of becoming a teacher one day, inspired by a strong desire to learn and to help others learn as well. Since joining JAAGO in 2016, he has shown steady progress and a growing sense of purpose in the classroom.
He lives with his family in a close-knit household where life is simple and resources are limited. His father is engaged in daily labour, while his mother manages the home. With siblings also in school, the family works hard to ensure their children remain safe, supported, and connected to education despite financial pressures.
Through access to sponsorship, Amullo can continue learning in a supportive school environment that nurtures both confidence and aspiration. Education gives him structure, encouragement, and the belief that his dream is possible. With guidance and opportunity, Amullo hopes to grow into an adult who gives back by standing at the front of a classroom one day.
