Onnob Roy: Learning with Joy and Ambition
Onnob is a 9-year-old boy with a warm and determined heart. He dreams of becoming a teacher one day, inspired by his love for learning and his desire to share knowledge with others. Onnob enjoys simple pleasures, like playing with his favourite doll, wearing his favourite red shirt and pants, and asking curious questions. His days are filled with imagination, and he dreams of a future where he can inspire children just like his teachers inspire him.
He lives with his parents in the village of Rayer Bazar, Dhaka. His father works as a farmer, and his mother supports the family by working in the garment sector. Despite their long hours of hard work, their income is modest, and they often struggle to make ends meet. Nevertheless, Onnob’s family remains committed to his education and dreams, believing that learning is the key to a brighter future.
Through access to sponsorship, Onnob can continue his education in a stable and encouraging school environment. Education will give him the foundation to work towards his dream of becoming a teacher.
