Pai May U is a 6-year-old girl with a bright, playful spirit and a strong ambition. She loves playing with her toys, especially her favorite toy, Haripatil, and enjoys wearing her favorite red frock. Her favorite treat is fast food, and she eagerly looks forward to the days when she gets to have it. Pai May U has a deep curiosity for the world around her, which makes her excited about school and her future.
She lives in Bandarban with her family. Her father, Ukymong Marma, works as a day laborer, while her mother, Naymay Ching Marma, is a homemaker. Despite their best efforts, managing household expenses and affording education for Pai May U remains a challenge. However, her parents remain determined to give her the opportunities they never had and provide her with the chance to succeed.
