Position Summary

JAAGO Foundation is looking for a creative, passionate, and result- oriented Visualizer/Graphics Designer to join the Communications Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming ideas, campaign objectives, and organizational messages into visually compelling designs that effectively communicate JAAGO's mission and impact. The role requires a strong understanding of visual storytelling, design principles, and brand communication across digital and print platforms.

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Communications and other relevant teams to develop engaging creative assets for campaigns, social media, events, publications, and organizational initiatives while ensuring consistency with JAAGO's visual identity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop creative visual concepts and design solutions for digital campaigns, social media platforms, websites, publications, events, and other communication materials.
  • Design high- quality graphics, including social media creatives, campaign materials, reports, brochures, presentations, banners, infographics, and other digital and print assets.
  • Utilize AI- powered creative tools and emerging technologies to enhance design workflows, generate creative concepts, improve productivity, and explore innovative visual solutions while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
  • Ensure consistency in brand elements, including typography, color palette, layouts, imagery, and overall visual language across all communication materials.
  • Create designs suitable for print production while ensuring technical accuracy and quality standards.
  • Stay updated with current design trends, creative tools, and industry best practices to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to visual communication.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team and other departments to understand design requirements and deliver visually engaging outputs.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver outputs within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain an organized archive of design files, templates, and creative assets for efficient future use.

Safeguarding:

  • Uphold and promote the organization's safeguarding policies to ensure the safety, dignity, and well- being of all children, young people, and vulnerable adults engaged in our activities.
  • Immediately report any concerns, suspicions, or incidents of safeguarding breaches in line with the organization's reporting procedures.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and conduct that fosters a safe and respectful environment for all beneficiaries, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience 

Education:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Experience:

  • 2–3 years of professional experience in a marketing agency or in a similar role within an organization.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects.
  • Strong sense of visual composition, typography, and color theory.
  • Experience with both digital and print media design.
  • Ability to leverage artificial intelligence tools to enhance both creative output and workflow efficiency while maintaining originality, accuracy, and brand alignment.
  • Proficiency in using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, Midjourney, or similar technologies for content development, visual creation, and design support.
