Arpona Sing Bhowmik: Learning with Courage and Purpose
Arpona is an 11-year-old girl with a lively spirit and a growing sense of responsibility. She dreams of becoming a police officer one day, inspired by the idea of protecting others and standing up for what is right. As she continues her journey at JAAGO School, she is beginning to discover her interests and build confidence through learning.
She lives with her family in a tea-growing community in north-eastern Bangladesh. The household relies on a single, modest income, and caring for several family members can be challenging. Despite these pressures, Arpona grows up in a supportive environment where education is seen as a pathway to a better future.
Through access to sponsorship, Arpona can continue her education in a safe and structured school setting.
