Surjo Ghosh: Learning with Joy and Ambition
Surjo is a 9-year-old boy full of energy and curiosity. He loves playing football, enjoys laughter, and is especially fond of his favourite shirt and pants. Surjo’s favorite food is rice with fish, and he’s drawn to the color blue. His dream is to become a police officer, and every day, he imagines a future where he helps keep the peace and serves his community.
He lives with his parents in Habiganj. His father, Sukumar Ghosh, works as a tea laborer, while his mother, Rina Ghosh, manages their home. Together, they form a family of six, with each member doing their part to support each other. Despite the challenges they face, Sukumar and Rina are committed to Surjo’s education, understanding that learning is the key to a better future.
